And it's no wonder-P.P.E. is large, grows quickly, and is incredibly floriferous all summer long. P.P.E. is great for those just starting out with Clematis, as it's durable and easy to maintain. The small-to-medium blooms are fully double, with recurved and twisted sepals that resemble rosettes. When the sepals drop, the resulting pompon center can remain for weeks.
